Jim was asked by friends to spearhead the design and construction of their home. Jim helped demolish the existing home and construct the new home. Complicated design details include a cantilevered front porch with a only a 4 foot backspan, coupled with what is likely one of the most intricate envelopes in Portland. Hand planed batons, massive sills cut to dimension on site and incredible awning windows make up some of the amazing details of this home.
