Dining to Kitchen and Kitchen to Dining
Dolph Park REDESIGN
NE 30th, Portland, Oregon 97212
Jim was hired by the homeowners to reimagine their main floor. With a smaller, narrow kitchen and an expansive dining room, Jim redesigned the main floor swapping the two spaces, adding the perfect new exterior door for quick, simple access to the back patio from a new mudroom and adding a new interior wall to the living room which created a much softer transition from the living room to the kitchen, while adding utility with a new pantry and bar area. The finish details of this project included a hand troweled plaster vent hood, custom turned legs, inset cabinetry and designer lighting from Apparatus and Cedar and Moss. This century home now has the highly sought after great room style layout.
